The formal Nigeria secular singer has returned home to her first love. Who says God is not yet recruiting His Army.
The sonorous singer and songwriter who turned 30 yesterday has rededicated her life to Jesus Christ!
Deleting all old posts from her Instagram page, Chidinma is now signed by the Gospel Record Label Eazee Concept.
She releases her new single at the same time, titled “Jehovah Overdo”
The beautiful petite Gospel singer declares boldly on her Instagram page:
“I am a Crusader of the Gospel of Jesus Christ” announcing her brand new name: Minister Chidinma Ekile
Other celebrity Gospel singer present to celebrate with her include Mercy Chiwo, GUC, Chioma Jesus, Judikay among others.
Chidinma rose to fame in 2010 after she won the Project Fame West Africa as a 19-year-old.
She became a West African sensation with the single, ‘Kedike.’ Releasing other singles like ‘Emi Ni Baller,’ which won Best Video at the 2014 Headies.
At the 2012 edition of the KORA Awards, Chidinma won Best Female West African Act for the song “Kedike”. She was also nominated for Best Female Act at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards.
She was also in the news for her controversial relationship with fellow singer Flavour N’abania but they both denied being in a relationship.
The last song released by Chidinma Ekile which shook the Nigerian airwaves was “Fallen In Love” released in 2017 with a current YouTube views of over 77 million. She also dabbled into the movie industry, but for a short time.
There are persons who say her transition is a publicity stunt, while others are genuinely happy that she has finally embrace the light of Jesus. What do you think?
