One big enemy that stands against your progress in life is fear. not your village people. And maybe ignorance. But when you are enthusiastic and passionate, soon you will meet the right people and get the right information that will help you make progress. But fear, if you are stuck in its web, what can you do?
One reason why this vice is even more dangerous is that, hold on. Just before I say that, I have a question for you. What is one thing that really scares you? You could think about that later.
This is what really makes fear dangerous: people hardly ever admit their fears.
As a personal rule, I am not just made for success, I own it as an obligation and responsibility to succeed. Just as the famous world-class marketer and real estate mogul,
Grant Cardone would say, “Success is my duty.”
Fear is a negative emotion that plays in the mind, and tries to stop you from achieving great success. It only exit because you let it stay in your mind. The moment you realize and do these simple things, it disappears.
Three simple but powerful steps that will help you overcome fear and win.
Write down what you want to do (your vision): There is a power in writing down. many are yet to amass this power. Now follow me, the goal is for you to win, and win you will! Write down your dreams, plans and aspirations. By doing this, you are confronting your dreams with boldness. face to face. like see me see you.
By writing down, you are giving your dreams structure and body form. The uncertainty of your dreams in your heart becomes tangible, something you can handle, something you can work with. our fear is usually the fear of the unknown.
Take action: Do something. no matter how little. Do something about your written plans. you can do that. can’t you? I remember the first time I thought of having a blog. I needed a place where I could write all the plenty stuff in my head. That was 2016, At that time, I didn’t know any web developer. The thought lingered for a while, then one day I asked google. “How to create a blog” there were different options. I choose one and followed through the steps. And boom, after some effort, I had a blog. created all by myself. I was glad. I wrote out some nice quotes and uploaded a few of my pictures. But winning doesn’t always end here.
Take another step:Do something again! This is most important and it is where very many persons get it wrong. They quickly fold up because the first step didn’t work out. never never do that. you do not have the right to give up on your dreams. I told you about the first blog I created, guess what? the next day, I couldn’t access it. I did all that I could. The site just wasn’t coming up. And it never came up till tomorrow. But today if you are reading this blog post, it is almost certainly through my blog.
Just keep working on your dreams, keep working on your dreams. if your dreams and aspirations is originally yours, that means you made it up. Why should you be scared of something you made up?
I will leave you with this excerpt from the legendary
Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”
“You should not allow uncertainty or fear in whatever guise to bog you down from living your dream and venturing out to start that business idea that you have long been nursing in your mind or talking about . A wise man once said ‘Act in spite of fear; and the death of fear is certain.’ Action is the antidote for fear; take daring but informed and organized actions, and you are on your way there.
So go ahead, what ever it is that scares you, write down exactly what you want for yourself, take action and do something about it, then take another step, do something again and again!
Have a Beautiful and Fearless Adventure.
