I think my love for entrepreneurship didn’t start today. I have always loved being able to create wealth for myself and for others. This post tells how BeInspired Show probably began.
One of my favourite aunts, my maternal aunt, she always reminds me of a song I sang for her when I was a child, at about four years old. She had some financial challenge at the time, very tough ones, debt everywhere. She could hardly get two meals a day. Really bad. And here I was, a little girl, didn’t know what’s up with her.
She came to our house for a visit, and I cried I would follow her home. No one could stop me, I wouldn’t hear. She had just one option, to take me with her. And she did. But not without the fear; how would she take care of me, how would she feed me nor buy me small chops and sweets that kids like?
We got home and of course, there was no food to eat, my aunt got really worried, “it’s not fair to make this poor child go hungry. I can’t remember everything, but I remembered how I danced so well, attempting also to make my aunt dance… Here was my song;
Leave it for God, don’t worry yourself, leave it for God, don’t cry anymore.
Jesus is alive, praise God you can face tomorrow,
He understands what you are passing through today, let Him defend His name.
Those were some of the songs my dad used to play in the house, and even as a child, I could minister to someone with it. I minister to you also today, “Do not worry, everything is going to be fine”. Somehow, we were able to make jollof rice that day, we ate and slept.
My aunt today is doing awesome! She has a stable job, and well established business. Her son is a first class graduate with wife and children abroad. She goes there too to rest and play, God defended His name.
Up till this day, whenever she sees me, she has a special name for me. “Leave it for God”.
So yes, you could say that was how BeInspired Show began. Lol.
“Children are heritage from God. Blessed are those whose quiver is full of them”.
